Our membership is 100% free, but we are now offering a “Paid Supporter” role for those who wish to contribute financially to Cornwall Games CIC.

Are you a business, freelancer or an individual and would like to support our cause? Become a paid supporter! Your contribution will be paying for accountants, insurance, website domain and storage, printed materials for events, and more. We occasionally have been able to put on free childcare, contribute to peoples Christmas lunch costs, or support developers with travel to events. It’s £900/yr to keep Cornwall Games running and our next bonus goal is to raise and extra £1000 for research into the scale of the Cornish Games industry, it’s contribution to the local economy and to that of the greater UK industry.

Cornwall-based Freelancers / Individuals / Students – £30/year for each person

Cornwall-based Games Companies (2 or more people) – £75/year for each business

Cornwall-based Education – £150/year

Outside of Cornwall-based Companies, and Cornwall non-games Companies – £250/year

Oustide of Cornwall-based Freelancers / Individuals / Students – £150/year

And you can always donate more if you wish! Extra opportunities are available such as sponsored talks at our meet-ups, or featuring on showcase materials.

Terms

Cornwall Game CIC is not VAT registered yet. Your yearly membership will last 12 months after you sign up, and if using PayPal may automatically renew unless you decide otherwise. We reserve the right to change our standard Supporter prices and will inform you if we do. The new prices will be only be reflected on your next renewal and not part way through your year. Please give us up to 10 working days to provide you with your new Discord role and to update our website once you have provided us with your materials. We will only be able to use materials on our website which you have the rights to and that after suitable and safe for +10yr olds, with no adult materials allowed. Videos will have to be hosted yourself and embedded. We reserve the right to request changes to resolution/sizes/colours/file format to be able to fit our website and keep it functional for everyone. You grant Cornwall Games CIC a limited, non-exclusive licence to use your submitted materials on our website, social media, and printed materials, solely for the purpose of providing your supporter benefits. You retain full ownership of your intellectual property. There will be no refunds. Do note that our Code of Conduct will still be a requirement for you to follow and failure to do so will still result in your removal from our commuinty. Limitation of Liability – Benefits are provided on a best-effort basis. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from membership or service delivery. We reserve the right to update these terms. Any significant changes will be communicated to current supporters. Continued membership after notice constitutes acceptance.
