Creative England

What is Cornwall x Connectivity?
Cornwall x Connectivity offers tailored business support for screen based creative and cultural practitioners, freelancers and SMEs based in Cornwall. The programme is delivered by Creative England and is funded by ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) and administrated by MHCLG (Ministry of housing, Communities and Local Government).

How to get in touch?
The Cornwall team is run by Charlotte Bond, who is the Programme and Engagement Manager, and Amelia De-Felice is the Programme Co-ordinator. Passionate about helping Creative Businesses in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly thrive, they are always happy to talk, so do feel free to get in touch via e-mail in the first instance.

About the programme:
The programme launched in May 2021 with a one-day Cornwall x Connectivity online event, which saw 23 speakers from across the Creative Industries talk about everything from hub working, sustainability, innovation and much more besides. In June we held a Finance support series which included a two-day finance bootcamp and an introduction to Creative England’s Start Up Loans and Creative Enterprise Schemes. We are currently planning a series of events to take us into spring 2022 that will support Cornwall’s screen-based businesses and practitioners as well as help them connect to wider networks across the Southwest and nationally.
