We are now seeking an Immersive Technical Specialist who will support development of immersive products for SME’s as part of the ERDF Immersive Business Project. The role will focus on helping to build and maintain a state-of-the-art immersive facility that will drive digital transformation across the southwest. 
 
The Immersive Business Project has established a new and unique immersive technology facility, designed to enable SMEs in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to access and benefit from Virtual Reality1 (VR), Augmented Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR) technologies. Led by Falmouth University in collaboration and working collegiately with the University of Exeter, Immersive Business continues to ensure that SMEs can compete nationally and globally through the development and application of the next competitive edge, immersive technologies.  
 
About You
We are looking for an experienced, driven, Immersive Tech Specialist who is able to bring the following experience.
 
Significant recent experience of instruction of technical aspects related to the project aims and outputs including experience working in AR and/or VR.
Be able to work with and build relationships with partners from a range of backgrounds in a technical role.
Experience and knowledge in majority of the following areas; Unity3D, Unreal Engine, OpenGL, VR SDKs, Leap Motion, tracking (optical, inertia, slam)
An up to date knowledge of related technical practice and a commitment to continual specialist development.
Strong programming skills (C++, C#, Java, PHP, CSS3, Windows API, Windows Visual Studio, AR, VR, MR, Graphics, Audio)
